Nan II

Nan 11 was built in Norway in 1955 by Holmen Yacht Varft. She represented Singapore in the Melbourne Olympics in 1956 as Rika lland was then bought by Jock Sturrock in 1957 who won the PPC with her in 1958 as Nan. I have owned her for 6 years and have cruised her and raced in the southern channel regattas as well as using her as a sail trainer at PESC. She was originally varnished but after splining the hull I decided to paint her. She is in need of some deck work and perhaps some new chainplates and a furling system, apart from that she is in sailing condition. Sails comprising Main, Headsail and Spinnaker are in very good racing condition as is most of the running gear. Also comes with a long shaft 2.5 Tohatsu outboard. I am selling as I have purchased an Adams 12 and am off cruising next year. I would be pleased to see her find a caring owner to bring her back into shape. Asking $5000, neg.
